"Wow!!! Not easily impressed but was delighted!"
May, 2018
My kids and I went to the aquarium and loved it. Everyone there was awesome...except for an incredibly rude and harsh older lady that was managing lines at the entrance. Buying tickets in advance online was the way to go! Seeing Nicholas do his routine was the highlight of the experience. Wonderful place.

"Utter dissapointment"
May, 2017
We were looking foward to seeing a wide variety of animals, (and maybe a show or two) but instead saw only 2 dolphins, 5 otters, 5 turtles, and some stingtrays. The place's main claim to fame was the movie that was shot here, and winter and hope. It was also immensly overpriced, and there were more donation boxes than animals. The gift shop could have been another exibit. It was an utter dissapointment. Would not go.

"What a rip off!"
September, 2016
This was an awful experience! For what we paid and seen 3 dolphins and 4 turtles. The tanks were cloudy and dirty. Wouldn't waste my money if I were you! We was there about an hr.

"Clearwater Aquarium"

I have been to this aquarium twice and would highly recommend it for all ages. Great hands on for kids. I especially like the fact that all of their animals are rescues and not just captured for people to see.

"our disappointment"
January, 2015
yeah, it was o.k., but disappointed that did not get a closer look at Winter. The pool was very small because of a perimeter about 3 feet wide and the shading it was quite difficult to get a good view. I believe we saw Winter rise above the water line two times where we could see what was left of his tail. The other aquarium creature were more visible, but still not a whole lot to see. An otter, a couple of stingrays and some turtles and that was about it. So there you have it.

The staff is very knowledgeable and the way it's set up is fun. The divers that answer questions is a very good idea. Just think that it's so expensive for what it is.

"Great Rescue Aquarium"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed January 20, 2019 NEW
This aquarium is not just your average aquarium with sealife on display. It's a rescue aquarium with dolphins, sea turtles even otters that they have saved. They have dolphin shows, of course, but there are great behind-the-scenes tours where people learn about how some of these animals were saved and what it takes to care for them and eventully reslease them back into the wild if they are able to survive. I learned a lot about dolphins on this tour. Sea turtles as well. There are volunteer opportunities as well as boat trips you can go on where they collect sea life for viewing before they re-release it. It's a great aquarium to visit even if you think you've seen it all.

"Nice visit, wonderful staff, free for military"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

This is a great little rescue aquarium. While it was very busy and a little awkward due to construction, we really enjoyed our visit. It was really neat to see Winter. Lots of interaction with staff members throughout the exhibits. Free for military except for parking.
