"Wow!!! Not easily impressed but was delighted!"
May, 2018
My kids and I went to the aquarium and loved it. Everyone there was awesome...except for an incredibly rude and harsh older lady that was managing lines at the entrance. Buying tickets in advance online was the way to go! Seeing Nicholas do his routine was the highlight of the experience. Wonderful place.

"Utter dissapointment"
May, 2017
We were looking foward to seeing a wide variety of animals, (and maybe a show or two) but instead saw only 2 dolphins, 5 otters, 5 turtles, and some stingtrays. The place's main claim to fame was the movie that was shot here, and winter and hope. It was also immensly overpriced, and there were more donation boxes than animals. The gift shop could have been another exibit. It was an utter dissapointment. Would not go.

"What a rip off!"
September, 2016
This was an awful experience! For what we paid and seen 3 dolphins and 4 turtles. The tanks were cloudy and dirty. Wouldn't waste my money if I were you! We was there about an hr.

"Clearwater Aquarium"
July, 2016
I have been to this aquarium twice and would highly recommend it for all ages. Great hands on for kids. I especially like the fact that all of their animals are rescues and not just captured for people to see.

"our disappointment"
January, 2015
yeah, it was o.k., but disappointed that did not get a closer look at Winter. The pool was very small because of a perimeter about 3 feet wide and the shading it was quite difficult to get a good view. I believe we saw Winter rise above the water line two times where we could see what was left of his tail. The other aquarium creature were more visible, but still not a whole lot to see. An otter, a couple of stingrays and some turtles and that was about it. So there you have it.

"Great stop"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed November 14, 2018 NEW
Did the behind the scenes tour and learned how they do their rescue and rehabs. Staff was phenomenal! Got to see Winter from Dolphins Tale. This Aquarium is no way near the size of, say, the New England Aquarium, but that wasn't the explanation goin in. We learned a lot form the personal one on one time each staff member spent with us and got to witness the ground breaking for there new rehab section being built! These volunteers do amazing work and I found it a great stop in on our visit to Clearwater. The work done here is so important to our marine life in this area. This is a great stop.

"Enjoyed Birthday party at CMA"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed November 12, 2018 NEW
I have never been there previously but arranged my daughter’s birthday at this venue. Party coordinator Doreen was so involved with her job and ensured that all our guests had wonderful time there. We could see winter and hope in action as well as other presentation with Wally ( Otter). Nicholas ( 2 month old dolphin) was a major attraction for party guests through windows. Overall I am happy that we arranged Birthday party there which matches our goal to enjoy and support good cause. They also have started dedicated Christmas activities but we could not experience much. Only issues right now may be about parking which is far and high charges for it. Hope to see everything well setup once ongoing renovations gets done.

"Its a decent trip to pass time and donate too"

I definitely feel that the name should have "rescue" or "hospital" in it because it's not your typically "aquarium". For the price...it wasn't worth it but I always like donating to wildlife

"Fun as an Adult"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

Fun to learn about Winter and the amazing work these people too. Majority of the exhibit takes place in the building where Winter is kept. I was not familiar with the movies about Winter but you sure will be after visiting here. Heavy promotion on the movie and where everything was setup and etc. i touched a manatee. Saw an otter. Garage parking is expensive. You are allowed to park on the street in the area for free. I spent 1 hour 15 minutes here. Gigantic gift shop offering stuffed animals, shirts and numerous other items. You can grab something to eat if you need to. I gave 4 stars, not 5, because there was no direction as to what was taking place when. They have TVs you can see a schedule of events and where they take place but no one around to ask for direction. Maybe hand out a schedule with a map with your ticket.
