Everything went great, however, no fault of Adventure Island, but they had to close the rides since a storm was upon us.

Tip: Dont be afraid of going to the kiddie sections, they have fun things and shotter lines. Wear swim shoes if possible, the concrete gets VERY hot on bare feet.

"Nice water park"

My family and I visited this park labor day weekend. We found the selection of slides to be pretty good. There is a good variety and something for everyone. We also enjoyed the lazy river - although there were not nearly enough tubes for everyone. However, the park is laid out so that it doesn't feel crowded. The barbecue place there is outstanding! Don't miss it. My only complaint has to do with the quick que. First, even though we had purchased it online, we had to stand in the same line as people purchasing it to get a wristband. Also, many rides have a wait to get a float. There is no quick que for floats, so there really isn't much of an advantage to having it on those rides. We spent the better part of a day here. It was enjoyable day, but on a visit a month later, my 12 year old opted to spend the second day at Busch Gardens instead of going here again. We did have a fun pass, which gave us access to both parks. Also, they share a dog kennel with Busch Gardens. The kennel was a good place to leave our dog for both parks.

We were there on the weekend in the middle of October. The slides were nice to the kids and they did not have to wait a long way. However, in the meantime it is not open or cleaned. The lounger was dirty, and there was no swirling around the pool either. The restaurant was closed at 2 o'clock, the buffet was dirty, bad service, packed sauces packed in the dirt. The vega hamburger was not fried, raw and cold. Between the tables, the stool of ducks everywhere. I became sick for about 7 to 10 days.

"Great day out"

Attended on the penultimate day of the season. The park was very quiet and as a result we were able to purchase a cabana for the day at a reduced rate. The cabana had a table and chairs, two sun loungers, a locker and a fridge stocked with 8 bottles of water. The rides we fantastic especially the ones for 4 people which the kids loved. The cabana was a big plus and really useful when you just wanted to relax and keep your stuff in one place but there was plenty of seating around the whole park. Other than being a slightly cold day, it was very enjoyable and the kids loved it. Would recommend.

You are much better going to Disney or Universal. There parks are better kept and more fun!! I love Busch since it normally has no crowds... but the place could use cleaning up.

"Great family day out"

We booked this as our children are now 11 & 9 so great age to enjoy all the slides. Also there was a special offer of $25 a ticket! Bargain. We went on the last Saturday that it was opened and hoped that the queues wouldn't be too long! It was fine, no queues for anything but it would have been a little cold waiting anyway. Few words of advice as the website isn't very clear on certain things. There is a picnic area outside by the car park so if u want to bring your own lunch then you can use this. We didn't know this so didn't bring any food with us. I would have brought our own lunch if I had known this in advance as meals are circa $15 a head. Only one place served coffee!! There are plenty of life jackets available to use in the attraction that are free. So you don't need to bring your own. Once you get in, get a locker -costs $15 for a small one currently, that you can have for the whole day. It has a touch key code so anyone from your party can go to it. Go and stake your patch. There were plenty of sunbeds but I presume when it is busier, these will go quite fast. You can leave your non valuables there. We spent most of the morning doing all the rides, my kids were happy to only do vanish point the once, they enjoyed it but they did find it scarey. Then the afternoon they spent in the pool, jumping off the high ledge and going along the leap pads. The pool was really warm so they were really happy. Enjoy and have a great day, reading the reviews pick your times in regards to business, we got a good day.
